About Us

Calvary’s Voice
Calvary’s voice was founded back in October 2005 by Greg Chapman with a desire to be the voice of Calvary. That desire still burns strong in his mind every day. To think of where God has brought the group is definitely amazing. The group currently consists of Greg Chapman (mgr, Baritone), Bryan Hatton (Lead), and Barkley Stone (Tenor). As we start a fresh year in 2011, we pray that God will use us to reach new heights for the Master. We would like to be known as a group that follows the Lord no matter where we are or where it takes us. To know that God could use three country boys to reach a soul, or to simply encourage someone to keep serving the Lord makes everything we do worthwhile! Please keep us in your prayers as we strive to serve the Lord.
Calvary’s Voice Mission Statement
Calvary’s Voice’s mission is that as we travel and minister to people across the country, souls would be saved and saints would be encouraged to keep on for the cause of Christ. We are truly living in the last days. It is so important to get the message to a lost and dying world. It is so easy to quit and give up, but every soul counts for Christ. He gave us His life so He deserves our best, We truly want to give our Highest Praise.
Greg Chapman
Greg was born in Brunswick, GA in 1967. Raised as a preacher’s kid, Greg grew up watching his family travel and sing gospel music. He was saved in 1996 when God started working on him at a “good ole campmeeting” service. Later that night at about 2:00 am, Greg knelt by his bed and got it right! He asked God to save an ole rotten sinner and things ain’t been the same since. He was married on June 30, 1990 to his beautiful wife, Shellie. Greg says “she’s the best thing that has ever happened to him besides God’s gift of salvation”. They have been married for almost 21 years and have three boys – Warren 19, Nathan 17, Aaron 16. “What a blessing my boys have been”, stated Greg. “It’s also good to know that all my boys have asked Christ into their heart”.
His sole purpose in singing is not popularity or fame, but to see people saved and to encourage the saints along the way. Greg’s hobbies are fixing things that are broken and watching Georgia Bulldogs with his boys. His favorite TV show is The Andy Griffith show.
Bryan Hatton
Bryan is 33 yrs old and sings lead for the group. He was saved in April 1989 and is a member of North
Jacksonville Baptist Church. He is on staff at the same church and can be found there on the days when he’s not traveling. He also sings with the choir on occasion. He was married on June 21, 2008 to Rachel Hatton and has a little girl named Alexandria Renee (Lexi). Bryan writes most of the songs for the group and his desire has always been to sing for the Lord. Bryan says he wants to make a difference for the Kingdom and that it’s not about him, but about the Lord, His greatest desire is to see lost souls saved. Bryan’s hobbies include reading, writing, and watching movies, as well as spending time with his family!
Barkley Stone
Barkley was born in Clarksville, TN in 1984 and sings Tenor for the group. He was saved in 1991 at a Rick Coram youth camp where his parents were the featured singers. He was married at Trinity Baptist Church in Ocala, FL on November 12, 2005 to his high school sweetheart, Lindsey. They have been married for over five years and have a one year old son named Broden Elliott Stone.
Barkley grew up with a deep love and respect for his grandfather who, for many years, was a minister of music as well as a strong spiritual and musical influence. He was raised watching his father and uncles sing in a gospel group and knew that God had plans for him to do the same thing some day. “I want to use my time, talent, and treasure to glorify God”, Barkley recently stated.
When Barkley’s not traveling with Calvary’s Voice, he enjoys golf, basketball, watching movies, and spending time with his family.
